DU Zhanyuan

Du Zhanyuan, President of China International Publishing Group (China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration). He obtained his doctoral degree in plant physiochemistry from the University of Massachusetts, U.S. in 1993, and studied with the Law School and Business School of Duke University, U.S. in 1996-1997.

He was vice minister of science and technology of China from July 2017 to December 2010; Then he served as vice minister of education of China until December 2018. He has been the president of China International Publishing Group (China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration) since then.
